Use
When conducting an earnings survey, employees must be categorized into statistical performance groups. These performance groups provide a rough classification of tasks according to qualification.
A performance group is assigned using the employer#s wage classification via table T5D3M (Evaluation of Pay Scale Classifications for Statistics) in the Evaluation field.
In this table, you can assign a statistical performance group by pay scale type, pay scale are, pay scale group, and pay scale level.
However, it is possible that the performance group is independent of the pay scale level or pay scale area. In this case, the performance group can be entered for all pay scale groups or pay scale areas by entering the value '--' in the relevant table field.
Activities
Decide which pay scale classifications belong to which performance group and enter the performance group assignments into table T4D3M.
Example
Employees with tasks requiring completed vocational training and several years# work experience are to be registered with performance group 2.
For example, employees with such tasks have the following pay scale classification:
Pay scale type: 02 Metal
Pay scale area: 05 North Rhine-Westfalia
Pay scale grouping: 3 Master
Pay scale group: K1
Pay scale level: 1
Entry into table T5D3M:
Ty. Area Gr PScfGr Lv Start End Evaluation
02 05 3 K1 1 02 (PerfGroup 02).
If you enter #--# for the pay scale group:
Ty. Area Gr PScfGr Lv Start End Evaluation
02 05 3 K1 -- 02 (PerfGroup 02).
Performance group 2 is assigned for all pay scale levels of the relevant pay scale classification. The same applies for the pay scale area.
