Enter the salary/wage or benefits group in the columns 04, 05, and 06. The following applies:

  1. For remuneration according to a collective agreement or company agreement, the salary/wage group is to be entered in column 04 and the sequence number is to be entered (from the company form) in column 05.
  2. For a free agreement, the benefits group is to be entered in column 06.

You use the feature 'DGLTR - Assign Collective Agreement Numbers' to decide whether the agreement is a free agreement. Read the Customizing point Assign Collective Agreement Numbers.

In case 1, the pay scale group field from the table Work Center/Basic Pay is printed from the payroll results (WPBP-TRFGR). In this case you do not need to take any further action here.

In case 2, the benefits group must be determined. The benefits group is specified in this point.

The following applies to workers:

  • " " = No information
  • "0" = Qualified skilled worker
  • "1" = Skilled worker
  • "2" = Semiskilled worker
  • "3" = Unskilled worker

The following applies to salaried employees:

  • " " = No information
  • "1" = Executive employees
  • "2" = Employees with special accomplishments and independent achievements
  • "3" = Employees with special expertise
  • "4" = Employees with an independent task after a general instruction
  • "5" = Employees without authority to make decisions
  • "6" = Employees with simple tasks

The benefits groups are assigned using the pay scale classification, namely pay scale type, pay scale area, pay scale indicator, pay scale group, and pay scale level.

You have free agreements in your company and have maintained feature 'DGLTR' under 'Assign Collective Agreement Numbers'. In doing so, you have specified the areas in which a free agreement applies.

Assign the appropriate benefits groups to your pay scale classifications.

The system supports a generic assignment for the pay scale area and the pay scale level. Enter '--' as a generic specification.
