Labor Costs Census 2012

The output wage types are formed by encoding the cumulation wage types. The following naming convention applies:

xnnn: nnn : Row number (also called key figure) from census
x = E : Standard
x = F : Addition of further wage types if the basic value is determined by the code
The exact meaning is listed below in the three calculation methods.

There are 3 different methods for determining data:

  1. Determination according to the encoding of cumulation wage type Cnnn
Example: Row 120: Total gross amount: E120 with wage type /106 gross tax amount
  2. Determination from other tables, controlled by code
    1. Determination from other tables, for example, WPBP
    2. Data from cumulation wage type Dnnn is added
Example: Row 313: Paid hours of all trainees
      - Field DIVGV is taken from WPBP
      (normal hours)
      - Overtime can be added via F313
  3. Transfer of manual data specified under Specification of External Data.
Example: Row 163 Reimbursed wage and salary totals
This information is not in payroll and must be retrieved
from other sources (for example, Financial Accounting). The information can be specified here.

What is the sequence of the calculation data?

  • The specification of external data always takes precedence and overrides all other entries.
  • If cumulation wage type Ennn is encoded, the determination by the code is overridden. If you have stored data in payroll wage types, it is useful to choose this method.

Activities

  1. To receive a template for configuring the cumulation wage types, you can synchronize your customer clients with the SAP clients.
  2. If you participated in the labor costs census 2008, you can encode the cumulation wage types for the labor costs census 2012 (Ennn or Fnnn) in the same way as the corresponding cumulation wage types Cxxx or Dxxx for the labor costs census 2008. CAUTION: The digits do not match (nnn <> xxx) since the row numbers in the legal template have changed.
  3. Maintain the cumulation wage types with the required payroll wage types.
  4. If you run the company pension scheme via component BAV in the same system, you may be able to transfer the data from payroll if you create your own implementation (a sample implementation is provided) for BAdI HRPAYDE_EHAK.

Further notes

Certain rows are only to be determined for particular employee groups (trainees, part-time or full-time employees). The report determines the rows and the rows must not be represented by separate wage types.

The determination procedure is as follows:

  1. Trainees: The field 'Occupational Status' in DEUEV is '0'
    (DUV-STBRF)
  2. Part-time employees: - The field 'Occupational Status' in DEUEV is
    '8' or '9' (DUV-STBRF)
    - In the infotype 'Working Time' (7), the indicator
    Part-Time Work is set
    - The SI attribute 1 has the value '04' = Semiretirement
  3. Full-time employees: - All other employees

  • The expenses for the company pension commitment in rows 220 to 271 are automatically determined using the payroll results for infotype 0669. For the supplementary insurance for bank employees (BVV), the amounts can be added via the Fnnn cumulation wage types. For the company pension scheme (CPS), additional values can be specified via the Dnnn cumulation wage types or can possibly be automated using an implementation of BAdI HRPAYDE_EHAK (sample implementation is provided).
