Use

If you want to use statements with SAPscript printout and you have set up customer-specific statements using the old tool, this IMG activity provides help on the statement conversion, with report Conversion Report: Statements in SAPscript (RPUFRMD8). With the old version, the description of the statements were in a form in the HR Form Editor and in a control table (V_T704).

The utility report performs the following conversions:

  • The basic settings (T5DF0) are transferred from the model statement. The statement period is read from T704M.
  • The statement parameters (T5DF6) (functional area and spool data) are transferred from the model statement.
  • The encryption for the statement wage types is converted in tables T5DF1 and T5DF4. The evaluation classes in use are an exception. If you have used evaluation classes, maintain the encryption manually using the wage type bases.
  • The statement type from table T704M is replaced by the statement functions in table T5DF2.
  • The standard texts for form design are taken from the model SAPscript form (T50F0).
  • The model SAPscript form is copied to a new SAPscript form.

The following settings cannot be converted automatically and you must maintain them manually:

  • The form design (background, single fields, rules, and so on) cannot be transferred to the SAPscript form. You must set up the main window yourself. You must also set up the control for the window elements.

Activities

  1. Start the report Conversion Report: Statements in SAPscript in test mode. Check the table entries. If the check does not reveal any errors, start the report in live mode.
  2. Maintain the main window for the SAPscript form.
  3. Set up the control of the window elements.
  4. If necessary, add additional Customizing settings.
