Use

In this Customizing activity, you create the modules that you need for your contract models for the German Pension Reform.

The modules are the central objects of this function.

Standard settings

The standard SAP system contains the following model modules for the BVV investment type:

  • AR        Supplementary insurance retirement pension - pension fund (PK)
  • AZV        General supplementary insurance # pension fund (PK)
  • BR        Supplementary occupational disability risk insurance # pension fund (PK)
  • BRWZ    Wait time reduction # pension fund (PK)
  • DA        Base insurance old rate # pension fund (PK)
  • DAT        Difference counter old rate # pension fund (PK)
  • DN        Base insurance new rate # pension fund (PK)
  • FWDA    Voluntary continued payment rate DA
  • N        Voluntary continued/additional insurance new rate - PF
  • RA        Base insurance old rate # relief fund
  • RN        Base insurance new rate # relief fund
  • RZV        Risk supplementary insurance - pension fund (PK)
  • ST        Supplementary insurance death benefit - pension fund (PK)
  • WA        Orphan#s supplementary insurance # pension fund (PK)
  • WI        Widow#s supplementary insurance # pension fund (PK)

Activities

Create additional modules:

  1. Enter a code and a name for your module.

    Note:

    When you create contract models with multiple modules, you must make sure that the modules are suggested in alphabetical order in the infotype German Pension Reform (0699). Depending on the names you have given your modules here, a BVV supplementary insurance may appear before the BVV base insurance. This affects the quota deduction.

    Therefore, if you want to create contract models that comprise supplementary insurance in addition to the basic pension, and you want to ensure the quota deduction from tax exemption and flat-rate taxation for the basic pension first, use the naming convention for the modules to ensure that the modules for the basic pension appear before those for the supplementary insurance in the German Pension Reform (0699) infotype.

    If you use contract models that only contain modules for the basic pension and for which the additional entry of other modules is planned, the sequence problem does not arise.
  2. Select the module and choose Specifications of Modules from the dialog structure.
  3. In the Determination of Contribution group box, you define which fields are to be ready for input in the German Pension Reform (0699) infotype subtype BVV.
  4. In the Processing group box you encode the following parameters:
    • In the Processing Routine field:

      You define a processing routine here.
      In the standard system, these are provided via table T5DR6.
    • In the fields Taxation ER or EE Taxation:

      The possible input values are mapped for the investment type BVV via the Editing Types (V_T5DR8) table. These fields are used to map the required tax processing or the sequence of the tax processing steps for the BVV employer#s or employee#s contribution if the quota is exhausted.
