Adjustments for the conversion to Absence Quotas infotype (2006)

Conversion according to the documentation of the report Transfer of Remaining Leave from Infotype 0005 to Infotype 2006
The report Transfer of Remaining Leave from Infotype 0005 to Infotype 2006 (RPTLEACONV) provides the option of converting the remaining leave entitlements of employees from the Leave Entitlement infotype (0005) into absence quotas of the Absence Quotas infotype (2006).
Note:

Are there absences as of the start of the validity period for infotype 2006?
If new absences are to be used, these have to be changed (for example, batch input report). If existing absences are delimited with regard to deduction, absences have to be reevaluated as of the start of the validity period for infotype 2006 (for example, using the report Revaluation of Attendance/Absence Records using Batch Input (RPTUPD00) or the report Leave Accrual and Quota Deduction (RPTBPC10)).
Key date for the selection: Start of the validity period for infotype 2006.
Validity and deduction intervals: Recalculate (to avoid retroactive accounting).
Prerequisite: Customizing for quotas for transferring remaining entitlement such that infotype 2006 is valid only on the key date and the deduction interval is one year.
Make sure you select the control parameter Country-Specific Leave

Creation of new records for the Absence Quotas infotype (2006)
Note:
Absence quotas with the entitlement 0 are not automatically created (this was previously possible in infotype 0005). It is possible to create this record manually using the transaction PA30 (Maintain HR Master Data).
After the conversion to infotype 2006, it is no longer necessary to create the absence quota for leave at the start of the year for industrial workers. If no record exists, a corresponding record is created from the first payroll in the new year.
For other employee groups with fixed leave days for each year, you can create the records using the report Generate Absence Quotas (RPTQTA00). A prerequisite for this is that the necessary Customizing settings are made.
