In this step, you define how your customer wage types are included in the fictitious semiretirement net amount. To do this, you maintain processing class 68 for your customer wage types.
Example
To calculate the additional supplementary amount required to reach to statutory guaranteed minimum net amount (supplement 2), the employee's fictitious part-time net amount is required as well as supplement 1.
In accordance with the law governing semiretirement, particular remuneration elements (for example, remuneration for overtime) must not be taken into account in the fictitious part-time net amount.
However, some of your semiretired employees work overtime up to threshold for part-time employees - this is permitted according to the semiretirement laws. This overtime remuneration, however, must not be taken into account in the net amount for semiretirement, therefore, the corresponding wage types for overtime must be excluded from the calculation of the comparison net amount.
In this case, you code your customer overtime wage types with specification 1 in processing class 68. This means that these wage types are not included in the fictitious full-time gross amount used to calculate the net amount for semiretirement for the calculation of supplement 2.
Requirements
You have set up fictitious payroll (with or without fictitious run control).
You have set up you semiretirement models and your semiretirement phases.
Standard settings
In the standard system, processing class 68 is not maintained. All model wage types are included unchanged in the fictitious net amount for semiretirement.
Activities
- Find how how your customer wage types must be included in the fictitious net amount for semiretirement.
- Maintain processing class 68 accordingly.
- If you want to include a wage type based on the semiretirement model and the semiretirement phase, use specification S.
In addition, enter the alternative assessment basis in view V_T5DA3. To do this, maintain the PT gross % field.
Further notes
The coding of a wage type with specification S in processing class 86 applies for all semiretirement models and all semiretirement phases. In contrast, the assignment of alternative assessment bases in view V_T5DA3 (SR Model Assessment Bases) only applies for one semiretirement model or phase. Therefore, if you have coded a wage type with specification S, you must define the assessment bases for all semiretirement models and phases.
In the standard system, technical wage types are also not coded in processing class 68. For some technical wage types (for example, /425 Car Imp. Income), this causes these wage types to be included in the fictitious part-time gross amount. This may cause incorrect results in the fictitious payroll run. For this reason, check the relevant technical wage types (for example, for imputed income) for their relevance in the fictitious part-time gross amount.
