In this Customizing activity, you create the semiretirement models that apply in your enterprise.
Example for semiretirement starting before July 1, 2004
You have two personnel areas with different semiretirement regulations.
In personnel area 1, the part-time net amount is increased by 30%. The minimum net amount is 80%. The pension insurance increase is 95%.
In personnel area 2, the legal requirements for the part-time net amount and minimum net amount apply, but the pension insurance increase should be 100%.
In both cases, you create a semiretirement model that contains these company requirements.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP provides several semiretirement models.
A legal model GES that is set up according to the legal requirements for semiretirement starting before July 1, 2004
A pay-scale model MTAR that you can use as a sample and copy template for your own pay-scale or company semiretirement models for semiretirement starting before July 1, 2004
A pay-scale model MTA2 that you can use as a sample and copy template for your own pay-scale or company semiretirement models for semiretirement starting after June 30, 2004
Recommendation
Use the pay-scale model as a copy template for your own semiretirement models. Modify these accordingly to suit your pay-scale or company regulations.
Activities
- Create a semiretirement model
- Create the semiretirement models that you require.
- Edit increase percentages
- In the group box SR Model Supplementary Percentage Rates, edit the predefined increase percentages for your own semiretirement models.
- For a model for semiretirement starting before July 1, 2004, determine which Schedule is to be used to calculate the flat-rate minimum net amount.
SAP provides both the legal schedule (report RPCATAD1) and a pay-scale sample schedule (report RPCATTD1). In contrast to the legal schedule, there is no capping to the income threshold amount in the pension insurance for the pay-scale sample schedule. - If you use fictitious run controls for fictitious payroll runs, you have to enter the name of your fictitious run control for the respective semiretirement model.
- For semiretirement models for semiretirement starting after June 30, 2004, select the corresponding checkboxes in the group box Semiretirement from 07/01/2004.
Only relevant for semiretirement models in Public Sector:
- Edit value credit according to labor legislation
In the group box Value Credit According to Labor Legislation, enter the corresponding subapplication (for example, ATZH - Semiretirement: Value Credit According to Labor Legislation TV Bund) and select a Value Credit Processing Type.
