Use

In this step, you must create number range interval 01 so that the Record of Employment (ROE) Workbench can assign a unique evaluation run ID to every set of ROE form data it generates. You must perform this step only if you are a new customer using ROE Workbench for productive use with ROE Web.

You may omit this step if you have been using ROE Workbench for productive use with ROE Laser and choose to migrate to ROE Web.

Requirements

Standard settings

No existing number range intervals are delivered with the standard system. You must therefore execute this step to create number range interval 01, as explained below.

Activities

To create number range interval 01, proceed as follows.

  1. Execute this IMG step.
  2. On the subsequent screen, select Change intervals.
  3. On the screen after that, from the application toolbar, choose Insert interval.
  4. In the subsequent dialog box, perform the following actions.
    1. In the No column, enter 01.
    2. In the From number column, enter 0000000001.
    3. In the To number column, enter 9999999999.
    4. Do not delete the entry 0 from the Current number column. This number reflects the current evaluation run ID and must therefore remain at 0 during configuration. As you execute evaluation runs in the ROE Workbench, it increases this number accordingly in the background to reflect the current evaluation run ID.
    5. Do not select the External checkbox.
    6. When you have completed these actions, choose Insert.
  5. Upon exiting the dialog box, choose Save from the prior screen.
