In this step of the Implementation Guide, you specify, for the reserve area, the reserve group and the reserve code, the wage types used to store the following information:

  • Number of eligible periods (denominators) for the reserve calculation
  • Value of the basis for the reserve calculation
  • Value of the period reserve
  • Value of the total reserve
  • Value of the reserves adjustment
  • Value of the previous company's reserves adjustment
  • Value of the reserve that must be transferred to the current company

The standard system has sample wage types that you should copy to create your own wage types.

Activities

To copy the sample wage types in the system:

  1. Select the wage types to be copied.
  2. Select WT customizing.
  3. Specify the necessary information for the automatic assignment of the wage types.
  4. To test before copying, select the field ExecTst and select Copy. To skip the test, leave the field ExecTst blank and select Copy.
  5. Save your entries.

To assign the wage types

  1. Specify the reserve area you wish to process
  2. For the selected reserve area, specify:
    1. a reserve group
    2. the reserve code
    3. the requested wage types
  3. Save your entries.
