In this step of the Implementation Guide, you define the rules that validate the dismissal protection laws.

The law can only be applied if certain conditions are met. The rules contain these conditions like for example, date of the firing event and/or the organization to which the employee belongs.

Activities

For each rule, you must:

  1. Enter a description.
  2. Indicate the organization type, that is, indicate whether the rule is organization-dependent, time-dependent or time and organization-independent.
  3. Indicate the related date, that is, whether the rule is dependent on the firing date, the property date of the dismissal protection or whether it is date-independent.
  4. Indicate the begin and end date of the rule validity.
  5. Enter the function module name used to derive the master data in IMG: Payroll -> Dismissal Protection -> Derive master data.
  6. Save your entries.
