In this step of the Implementation Guide, you assign different wage types to the different absence types (expired or doubled), depending on the case.

Notes:

• Only wage types coming from the infotype Absences(IT2001) and connected to leave can be specified as incoming wage types.
• To keep data consistency, this step must be carried out based on the customizing of absence valuation.

Requirements

Before carrying out this step, it is necessary to:

• Group absences in the IMG step: Payroll -> Absences -> Determine interval and time unit for period in double.
• Set your wage types for the different absence days in the IMG step: Payroll -> Absences -> Vacation allowance.

Activities

1. Specify values for the fields:
1. Employee groupings for absence valuation
2. Absence valuation rule
3. Code for absence valuation in off-cycle payroll
4. Incoming wage type (contains absence days)
5. Outgoing wage type (contains days to be paid in double)
2. Save your entries.
