Use

In this IMG activity, you determine the constant type associated with the constants used in leave liability and leave provision calculations.

System reads the values of these constants to obtain the following rates and factor for leave liability and leave provision calculations:

  • Bond rate
  • Escalation rate
  • Inflation rate
  • Probability factor for long service leave

You can use Leave Liability feature (13QLK) to determine the constant type, which makes a decision based on the following:

  • Personnel area
  • Personnel subarea
  • Employee group
  • Employee subgroup

Based on the return value of this feature, Leave Provision function (QLVPR) obtains the value of the constant associated with the constant type, from the IMG activity under Payroll Australia -> Leave Provisions and Payments (Leave Quotas) -> Leave Provisions -> Maintain Constant Types for Leave Liability and Leave Provision Calc. In case you have not maintained a constant type in this feature, the function reads the same from Payroll Parameters table view (V_T511K).
