Your company may require to transfer data to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), for the estimation of the following:
- Average weekly earnings
- Employment and Earnings
- Job vacancies
- Overtime
The data are to be transferred to the ABS at two stages during each quarter:
- The most recent pay period ending on, or before, the third Friday of the middle month of the quarter (February, May, August and November)
- Individual pay period details for all pay periods ending in quarter. This is applicable only for the Public Sector.
Separate records are required for each:
- Payroll and/or state providing unique Payroll identifiers
- Pay frequency
- Pay period type
- End of pay period dates
The data are transferred to the ABS by using report Interface to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) (RPCPBSQ1). You carry out the following steps to configure the necessary settings for the report.
