Use
In the following Customizing activities, you make the required settings for calculating side charge bonus points.
According to Sec. 118 (5) of the Salary Act, with effect of January 1, 1972, side charge bonuses obtained must be converted into side charge bonus points. This is done by dividing the relevant side charge bonuses by 1% of the V/2 charge applicable when the entitlement to specific side charge bonus arises.
Requirements
- Recording of historical side charge bonus points
Side charge bonuses that were granted in work relationships with the federal government or another regional administrative body that preceded the current civil service work relationship must be (after conversion into side charge bonus points) established by administrative act. The same applies for side charge bonuses that arose before the function was implemented and that are not recorded in the SAP system.
To record side charge bonus points for past periods, you can use the Historical Additional Fees A (0813) infotype (category Regular) in the standard system.
If you want to processes additional categories of side charge bonus points, you have to create the relevant subtypes required for the Historical Additional Fees A (0813) infotype in view V_T591A.
- Provision of wage types
Synchronize your system with the wage types for side charge bonus points in client 000 and encode the wage types in processing class 70 as side charge bonus relevant in view V_512W_D.
In the Maintain Processing Classes and their Specifications activity, define the values in processing class 70 in accordance with the subtype values, as in the following example:
Specification 1 ---> Subtype 0001 (Regular)
Specification 2 ---> Subtype 0002 (Payment for Service)
Specification 3 ---> Subtype 0003 (MDL)
