Use

By activating subapplication UEKV, you can provide the following functions in your system:

  • The data on pay in lieu of notice in the Payment Upon Leaving A (0527) infotype is evaluated in payroll.
  • The data on comparison payments or other pay in lieu of notice in the Payment After Leaving A (3238) infotype is evaluated in payroll.
  • Pay in lieu of notice is always calculated before payments in lieu of unused leave, according to SI requirements.

If you activate the subapplication, retroactive accounting may, under certain circumstances, be carried out: The system triggers retroactive accounting for all employees who left the company before the valid from date of the subapplication, but who, on account of a compensation payment, still have SI coverage after the valid from date.

In the Validity Interval for Statutory Subapplications view, adjust the valid from date for the entry UEKV (UE/KUE and Comparison Sums (IT 0527 & IT 3238)).
