Use

In this Customizing activity, you create a work schedule with regard to short-time work. You can also change and delete existing work schedules here.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system, SAP provides the work schedules KUA and KUAG as sample work schedules for short-time work.

Note:

Use this Customizing activity only for Customizing for short-time work. For general settings for work schedules in personnel time management, use the more detailed Customizing settings under Personnel Time Management -> Work Schedules.

Activities

To create a new work schedule, proceed as follows:

  1. Call the Customizing activity and make the following entries in the Work Schedule for group box:
    • The employee subgroup grouping
    • The public holiday calendar ID
    • The personnel subarea grouping
    • The work schedule rule (for example, KUA) to be generated
  2. In the Period group box, make entries in the Calendar Month From and Calendar Month To fields to define the time interval for which you want to generate, change, or delete the work schedule.
  3. In the Display group box, select the desired display type.
  4. Choose Save.

Note:

To generate the work schedule month for month (with confirmation), choose Create. To generate the work schedule for the desired interval without confirmation, choose Create All.

To change or delete an existing work schedule, proceed as follows:

  1. Call the Customizing activity and select a work schedule on the basis of the criteria in the Work Schedule for group box.
  2. Choose Change or Delete and change the work schedule in line with your requirements or delete the work schedule.
