Until now, the SAP system processed the family allowance for orphans (whose deceased parents had worked for the company) by treating them as employees with their own personnel number.

In this new development, infotype IT0043 has been modified and now contains a new field that shows whether the person referred to is an orphan rather than an actual employee.
