The statements delivered by SAP as standard already contain all the necessary settings, with the exception of statement wage types.
Depending on the statement, certain wage and salary elements (such as tax gross amount or other benefits) must be printed. The composition of these wage and salary elements from various wage types is customer specific and, as such, you need to code them.
You also have the option of changing the following parameters suggested by the system:
- The assignment of the functional area
- The spool parameters
Standard settings
The standard system contains sample entries for coding statement wage types. Make new entries only if adjustments are required.
Activities
When you select the activity, an overview of all statements appears. The length of the statement period is also displayed, as is the assigned SAPscript form.
- Assignment of the functional area
You can change the default assignment of a statement to a particular functional area.
- Set up of the statement wage types
- Select the desired statement.
- Select the statement wage type to be set up and choose Components of Statement Wage Type.
- Synchronize the standard settings with your own wage types. If required, you can recode the statement wage type either via a wage type, a wage type basis, or a constant from the constants table.
- In the TabID (table indicator) or TI WB (table indicator wage type basis) column, enter the corresponding table indicator.
The wage types from the master data are read from the infotype tables and the payroll results are read from results table RT. - If you set a subtraction indicator in the last column SubInd., the wage type concerned flows into the statement wage type negatively; if the indicator is not set, the wage type flows in positively.
- Set up of the spool parameters
To improve searches in the spool, you can assign indicators.
