For the Payments Upon Leaving (0527) infotype, the employment period is required for calculating the severance pay amount and penalty amounts. Since the employment period may have a different economic background for both cases, the employment period for severance pay and penalties is not necessarily the same. Provision for this is made in the infotype, whereby a field is specified for the employment period, in years, for each of the two cases.
When you create a Payments Upon Leaving infotype record, default values are determined for the employment periods. Since the employment period is not always calculated on the basis of the entry date and leaving date, it is possible to substitute the entry date with a date from the Date Specifications 0041 infotype.
To replace the entry date with a date from the Date Specifications infotype, define the date types used and assign the relevant date indicators to these date types.
Activities
Call the activity and choose New Entries.
Assign the following date indicators to the date types used by you for severance pay and penalties:
A2 - for entry severance pay Austria 28 - for entry penalties Austria
If, in the Date Specifications (0041) infotype, you have specified dates for the date types you defined, the date specifications override the relevant entry date.
