In this Customizing activity, you create a payroll variant that is used in the Payments Upon Leaving (0527) infotype.

When you create a Payments Upon Leaving infotype record, payroll accounting for future payroll periods is simulated, by calling Payroll Driver - Austria (RPCALCA0), in order to display default values for statutory severance pay, payment in lieu of unused leave, and penalties.

Activities

Perform the Customizing activities in the order specified.

  1. Call the Generate Simulation Variant activity.
    1. Make any necessary entries on the selection screen for program RPCALCA0 (Payroll Driver).
    2. When the Payments Upon Leaving infotype is simulated, some fields are overwritten.
      3. - Enter a payroll area. During the simulation, however, it is not this payroll area for which the payroll is run, rather the (notional) payroll area that is assigned to the employer through the Organizational Assignment 0001 infotype.
      - Choose Other Period as the payroll period.
      - Enter any desired period.
      The relevant current period is determined during the simulation on the basis of the leaving date.
      - Do not make any entries in the Personnel Number field; this field is filled by the infotype.
      - Select your payroll schema.
      - Set the Test Run (No Update) indicator.
      - Deactivate logging.
    3. Choose Goto -> Variants -> Save As Variant...
    4. In the Variant Name field, enter the name of the variant.
    5. In the Meaning field, enter a long text.
    6. Choose Save.
  2. Call the Edit Feature PM004 activity.
    1. In feature PM004, enter the payroll variant that you created in the previous step.
    2. Check the payroll variant for simulation code AA:
      In the standard SAP system, the variant ABAUS is stored for RPCALCA0.
    3. Modify the feature by inserting the highlighted row in the feature.

If in the previous step you stored your payroll variant under a different name, enter this name instead of ABAUS.
