Use
According to the act 20.744, section 225 et seq., in the event of a contract assignment, the contract is not terminated but novated. Therefore, in such cases there is no final settlement. That means that compensations are not paid and the amounts cumulated for calculations such as SAC, ART leaves, taxes, variable payments, etc. are maintained.
The opposite behaviour, i.e., a final payroll run in a contract assignment, is also legal and is an ordinary practice in the companies.
In the standard system these alternatives are controlled using the value of the CBSOR constant.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system assumes that there is a work contract termination in the case of a contract assignment. This means that the system performs a final payroll run, with the corresponding consequences for cumulations and compensations. The default value of the CBSOR constant in the standard system is 1.
Activities
If you want that, in the event of a contract assignment, a final payroll run is not carried out, enter 0 in the field Value of the CBSOR constant.
If you want that, in the event of a contract assignment, a final payroll run is carried out, you must not perform any activity, as this is the standard system behaviour.
