Decree 377/2001 suspends the validity of decrees 446/200, 1140/200 and 1305/2000 regarding the deregulation of welfare funds.
Due to said suspension, the calculation of welfare fund deductions and contributions shall once more be carried out using the previous method; i.e., using fixed percentages according to whether the welfare fund is unionized (90%) or not (85%).
The standard SAP/R3 system offers the possibility of selecting the calculation method according to the validity of the decrees.

To perform this activity you must enter one of the following values in the Value field of the SESDC constant:
- 1: If you want to calculate welfare fund deductions and contributions using fixed percentages, according to whether it is a unionized welfare fund or not.
- 2: If you want to calculate welfare fund deductions and contributions according to the employee's remuneration.
