In order to determine the payment of some compensations, it is necessary to calculate the variable remuneration average.
The SAP standard system calculates two variable remuneration averages for compensations:
- A variable remuneration average from the last six months. This average is stored in wage type Variable remuneration average 6 months(/T05), and
- A variable remuneration average from the last 12 months. This average is stored in wage type Variable remuneration average 12 months (/T04).
The average base used for these calculations is wage type Variable remuneration for termination (/240).
