Use
For prenatal allowance and schooling assistance, the employee has 90 days to present the corresponding certification. If he/ she fails to present the the document within the given period, these family benefits shall be deducted from family benefits already paid during the period in which the failure to present certification is detected. Where there are no previously paid family benefits, the amount shall be deducted from the basic salary up to a determined percentage per period.
This maximum percentage is defined in the Standards and can be viewed and/ or modified in the Implementation Guide, in the section Payroll calculation Argentina-> Family allowances -> Processes -> Define max. percentage of basic salary for deduction.
Moreover, the system offers the possiblity to define exceptions to said percentage. If for certain employees the company prefers to apply a different percentage, it may create its own specific wage type for said employees with the required percentage in the Complementary Payments infotype (0015).
Wage type M021 is a model SAP wage type created for this purpose. The required percentage should be indicated in the field Quantity (NUM) of this wage type.
If you wish to work with your own specific wage type instead of wage type model MO21, you should:
- Copy wage type MO21 to your own wage type, without changing the client status and necessary wage type parameters. To do so, follow the Implementation Guide activities, in the section Family allowances -> Processes -> Define exception to max. percentage of basic salary -> Wage types .
- Make copies of rules ARDG and ARDH and replace model wage type MO21 with your own specific wage type, created in the previous activity, in these copies. To do so, follow the Implementation Guide activities in section Family allowances -> Processes -> Define exception to maximum percentage of basic salary -> Copy rule for generation of own wage type and Copy rule to apply exception to max. percentage of basic salary.
- Incorporate the copies of rules ARDG and ARDH in a copy of payroll subschema ARSF.
