Use

In this Customizing step, you use the feature 41LEA to specify a date type. The system uses this date type to determine the tax rate for a terminated employee during a payroll run.

Requirements

Standard settings

To determine the correct tax rate for a terminated employee, you must perform the following steps:

  1. Define a date type in Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel Administration -> Evaluation Basis -> Date Specifications -> Define date type.
  2. Create a record for the employee in the Date Specification (0041) infotype with the date type.

    Note that the date for this record must be the payment date.

  3. Run the payroll for the employee with payroll reason 0007 (retirement liquidation before regular) or 0008 (retirement liquidation after regular).
