In this step, you assign the attributes to each social insurance entitlement reason that you have defined in the previous IMG step.
The assignment is made for all social insurance types:
- Medical insurance
- National Pension
- Employment Insurance
- Workers' compensation insurance
To define the attributes, you need to maintain the social insurance entitlement status, social insurance reporting codes and the percentage of reduction.
- Social insurance entitlement status includes:
- New
- Lost
- Reduced
- Exempted
- Normal
The maintenance of entitlement status is used for various purposes, mainly for the calculation of social insurance premium in payroll run.
- While the social insurance reporting status is only used for reporting purpose. It includes:
- Acquired
- Lost
- Changed
The real code issued by the social insurance agency is used for reporting.
- The percentage of reduction for social insurance premium is entered only when you choose the status Reduced.
Example
For medical insurance, when you choose the entitlement reason Overseas work (half) for an employee, then his or her premium payment will be reduced by 50%.
The employee will be reported to the medical insurance association as the acquisition, also known as the target for reduction at the same time.
Requirements
You must have set up social insurance agency and social insurance eligibility code given by the social insurance agency.
Recommendation
For national pension and employment insurance, you do not need to change the standard settings. However, if you want to add new entries since the social insurance agency wants to report for any other reasons, you make new entries.

- Check the current setting and change.
