In this step, you define all possible reasons (events) that affect the employee's Social Insurance eligibility, regardless of the Social Insurance reporting status such as acquisition, loss or change, which is used to report to the Social Insurance agencies. You will define all reasons for the Social Insurance types:

  • Medical insurance
  • National pension
  • Employment insurance
  • Workers' compensation insurance

You do the settings in two steps:

  1. Define the Social Insurance entitlement reason in this implementation guide step.
  2. Assign the attributes to each Social Insurance reason in the next implementation guide step. For Medical Insurance, you will do this for each Medical Insurance association separately.

Standard settings

The standard SAP system contains reasons for each Social Insurance subtype.

Activities

  1. Check the SAP sample entries.
  2. Create new entries by you own requirement.
  3. Delete entries that you do not need.
