In this step, you generate your own wage types for the Awards infotype (0183) by copying the model wage types in the standard system.
You can use these copied wage types in further processing and modify them to suit your own requirements. Only wage types used in the Awards infotype (0183) are proposed in this step.
Note
- For information on setting up customer wage types by using models or copying the wage type catalogs in the standard system, see the steps "Create wage types using wage type catalogs" and "Create wage types using prototypes".
- The copies of model wage types have the same characteristics with the model wage types considering processing in dialog as well as in payroll calculation. You can check and change the characteristics of your wage types in the subsequent steps if necessary.
Caution
You can only use the name range reserved for your customer wage types (wage types that begin with a number). Do not copy wage types to the area reserved for SAP model wage types (those that begin with a letter or a symbol).
