Use

In this step, you change the inbound parameter of the partner profile.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

For SAP HCM releases up to and including 4.6C, proceed as follows:

  1. Under Partner Type LS, select the logical system of SAP HCM.


    If the logical system is not displayed in the list, create an entry.

  2. In the Inbound Parmtrs section, choose Create Inbound Parameters.
  3. In the Message Type field, enter HRMD_ABA.
  4. On the Inbound Options tab page, go to the Process Code field and enter HRMD or the process code you created in the previous step if you used another name.
  5. For testing purposes, you can set the parameter Processing by Function Module may be set to Trigger by Background Program. This holds all incoming IDocs in the SAP Portfolio and Project Management system for manual processing. After testing, you can change this parameter back to Trigger Immediately.

For SAP HCM release 4.7 and higher, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Inbound Parmtrs section, select the message type HRMD_ABA.
  2. For testing purposes, you can set the parameter Processing by Function Module may be set to Trigger by Background Program. This holds all incoming IDocs in the SAP Portfolio and Project Management system for manual processing. After testing, you can change this parameter back to Trigger Immediately.
