Use

In this step, you map the SAP R/3 HCM message type to the SAP Portfolio and Project Management message type.

The message type used up to and including in SAP R/3 HCM 4.6C is HRMD_A.

Since HRMD_A is unknown to the SAP Portfolio and Project Management system, it must be converted to a known message type. For SAP Portfolio and Project Management, this message type is HRMD_ABA.

  1. Under Logical Msg. (Short), enter the SAP HCM R/3 message type HRMD_A
  2. Under Message Type, enter the SAP Portfolio and Project Management message type HRMD_ABA.
