In this activity you define the combination of parameters that you will use to run the reports, including the agency code, whether the records are for oil or for gas, and the company code (that is, the internal company code, also known as the report submission group).
In the 1st Rpt YYYYMM field, you enter the month that you will begin using the new Tax Reporting framework.
In the Sales YYYYMM field, you specify how far back you will access data for use in the new framework. This is used for legacy data being transferred from another system for prior period adjustment (PPA) purposes in tax reporting.
Example
If there are two internal companies (100 and 101, for example) for one state agency (WY, for example), and each of the two internal companies has records for both oil and gas, then you would complete four rows in this activity. In this case, data for the RSG, Report Agency, and Oil/Gas Ind. fields, respectively, would appear as:
