Use
In this activity, you can define synchronized tables for PDM.
Synchronized tables refer to tables that are not PDM tables, but rather tables (typically type C and type S) that are small enough to be replicated in the (potentially) multiple systems that make up the PDM landscape.
For example, if there is a small customizing table that is used frequently in a join to a PDM table, it will make sense to synchronize that table across all systems, since this will enable the PDM system to execute the SQL far more efficiently.
Note: It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the data is synchronized across the PDM landscape. However, PDM does have safeguard in the event the data is not identical and will produce an error to prevent incorrect results being returned.
