The last 3 employee appraisals within the last four years are considered for the appraisal bonus. For each appraisal rating, a number of bonus years are associated through customizing. The employee is then awarded the average of all eligible bonus years (rounded up in the case of a fraction to the next whole number). If the employee has no eligible appraisals, the employee is awarded the number of years that is most often awarded in his competitive level in the latest year of appraisals.
The bonus for appraisals must be maintained for each appraisal model. The appraisal model that you are using needs to be created prior to the maintenance of this table.
Example
The organization BLM is undergoing a RIF action. The appraisal models Federal 1 (ID 50000050) and Federal 2 (ID 50000051) are being used to evaluate the performance of employees in the BLM organization. Then for any employee evaluated under either of the two appraisal models, bonus year awards can be configured within the table based on the rating recieved for an appraisal. In determining the bonus years to award, the rating can be a specific value or fall within a range between a low and high rating. The following entries may be made:
App Type Appraisal Model Low Rating High Rating Bonus Years
BS 50000050 0.0 1.0 0
BS 50000050 1.1 2.0 12
BS 50000050 2 .1 3.0 20
BS 50000051 1.0 1 .0 12
BS 50000051 2 .0 2 .0 18
BS 50000051 3.0 4 .0 20
In this case, any employee within the organization who has an appraisal on the Federal 1 model (50000050) with a rating of 2 will be awarded 12 years for that appraisal. If the employee was instead using the Federal 2 model (50000051) , he would be awarded 18 years. The Federal 2 model also uses a range for determing the bonus years to be awarded. An employee that recieves a rating between 3.00 and 4.00 will be awarded 20 years.
Requirements
Before configuring this table, the user needs to have configured the appraisal models .
