Use
Transaction SE91, "Message Classes", is used to create or edit message classes. These messages are what basically define the NoA Remarks.
Requirements
A remark is formed by text and up to four placeholders. The text is considered to be fixed, while the placeholders are seen as variables. These placeholders will contain text that is either populated by the NoA screen fields or by the user by typing in a value or set of words .
Standard settings
A message is created by assigning a message ID. This ID can be a number or a set of characters. A short text of up tp 73 characters is typed in the text area. Placeholders are specified by using the characters '&1' ... up to four of them.
Whenever a remark is longer than 73 characters, the long text can be used to create the actual remark. This long text will use up to four placeholders as well.
If it is required to define a remark with more than four placeholders, a second message can be defined with the rest of the text and required placeholders. The long texts should be split accordingly as well.
The long text is also used to produce F1 information that can be accessed only from the Remarks Editor. To produce this F1 help text, place it below the section of the long text that defines the remark text, and under a header symbol called F1.
