This maintenance view is used to configure the allowed Remark Codes for any given Nature of Action Code. Here we set up all possible Remark Codes that an NoA Code can use.
Activities
The fields to maintain in this view are:
NoA Code
Contains the Nature of Action Code.
Number
Provides an index for entries.
Remark Code
Specifies an allowed, or possible, NoA Code.
Example
The Remarks for Nature of Action Code 280 (Placement in Pay Status) can be given by Remark Codes B32, G31, P12, E05, T06, G11, P20, X37, X45, and X61.
To configure this setup, we provide the following entries in the maintenance view:
First entry:
NoA Code = 0280
Number = 001
Remark Code = B32
Second entry:
NoA Code = 0280
Number = 002
Remark Code = G31
Third entry:
NoA Code = 0280
Number = 003
Remark Code = P12
Fourth entry:
NoA Code = 0280
Number = 004
Remark Code = T06
... and so on, until we record the last entry for Remark Code X61.
