SAP supplies some standard reasons, as follows:

  • RANDOM - Random testing
  • SCH-FU - Scheduled followup
  • UNSCH-FU - Unscheduled followup
  • RETEST - Retest to confirm positive result
  • SUSPICION - Suspicion of drug use
  • POST_INCID - Post-incident believed to have originated in drug use
  • PRE-EMPLOY - Pre-employment (applicants and employees only)
  • LICENSE - License certification
