Use
In this step, if desired, you may manually assign the classifications you defined above to qualification groups in Personnel Development. You may also manually assign the codes you defined above to qualifications in Personnel Development.
Requirements
The manual assignment that you perform in this step may be used in addition to, but not instead of, the report that you execute in the previous step to generate qualification groups/qualifications from classifications/codes. You are therefore required to have executed that report at least once before you perform manual assignment in this step.
However, the manual assignment of classifications to qualification groups and of codes to qualifications within this step is optional. If your workplace does not intend to use standard profile matchup functionality delivered with Personnel Development in conjunction with certification and licensing, then omit this step entirely.
If you do intend to use standard profile matchup functionality, then you are required to have defined the corresponding classifications and codes above. You are also required to have executed the report in the previous step. Only then could you execute this step to manually assign your classifications and codes to qualification groups and qualifications, respectively, in Personnel Development.
Standard settings
As delivered, no Personnel Development information is mapped to certification and licensing information (within Personnel Administration) in the standard system.
