Use

In this step, you define a complete list of the types of certificates or licenses that are issued to your employees by the authorities or institutions defined in the previous step.

Activities

  1. Execute this step.
  2. On the subsequent screen, for each license or certificate type to be defined, enter a one- to four-character identifier of your choosing in the Type column.
  3. For each identifier you enter, specify the name of the license or certificate type (twenty characters maximum) in the adjacent Description column.
  4. Save your entries, then exit this step.

Example

Suppose you are employed for a county school district, for which you must define the types of certificates and licenses that are issued to the teachers, administrators, and other employees in your district. Examples of the certificate types that you could define here are as follows:

  • Type - Description
    AC - Annual
    PR - Professional
    PT - Part-Time
    SB - Substitute
    TP - Temporary
