As delivered, the standard system reviews the values defined in feature DFICA to determine whether the employee at hand, on the basis of his or her visa type, is required to pay FICA taxation. This step of the Implementation Guide enables your enterprise to maintain assignments for additional visa types, as appropriate.
Activities
Execute this step of the Implementation Guide.
On the subsequent screen, review the standard structure of feature DFICA, shown below, whereby holders of F-1, J-1, M-1 and Q-1 visas remain exempt from FICA taxation.

If your organization requires no additional visa types, then exit this step of the Implementation Guide and proceed with configuration.
If additional visa types are necessary, then add new nodes to this feature to reflect the visa type and its taxability under FICA.
Select Feature -> Save to save the modified feature.
Generate the feature, then proceed with configuration.
