Use
In this activity, you generate the customer wage types that will be used in your system to process a variety of loan types that will be entered in view V_T7MXPSB21. To do so, you will copy some of the template wage types in this IMG activity whose name begins with P. Copies made by the customer start with a number.
After copying these template wage types to the range reserved for the customer, you can modify them to cover the specific processing requirements for your company.
Requirements
Standard settings
As standard, SAP uses the following three wage type templates:
- PL03 - Short- and medium- term loan
- PL06 - Mortgage loan
- PL07 - Housing insurance
Activities
The procedure for creating the wage types to use in the customer system is as follows:
- Run this IMG activity.
- Select the Copy action in the Wage type maint. dialog and press Continue.
- Check the wage types in the Copy wage types image and then select the one/s you wish to copy.
- For each wage type you select, enter a name for the wage type copy in the column entitled WageTypeCustomizing, a description in the WageTypeLongText column and a short text in the ShortTxt column. The name used should contain four characters and the first of these should be a number.
- Select Copy.
Once these steps have been completed, the system will copy the wage type you have selected and then generate a log with the changes made to the relevant wage type tables. You may now modify the customer wage types to adapt them to the procedural requirements of your company.
Example
Notes
If you wish to run a test of the wage type duplication process as recommended, mark the TestRun box and then select Copy. This will create a test copy of each wage type that you selected in the duplication image.
If you are satisfied with the test copies, return to the duplication image and deselect TestRun. Then select Copy.
If you require several copies of the selected wage types, select Multiply wage types in the duplication image.
