Use

In this activity, you can check the schema, subschema and rules used in the processes. If necessary, you can make copies and modify them to cover the needs of your company.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP uses the MXP0 schema as standard to process the payroll.

Recommendation

As with other schemas in the SAP R/3 system, it is strongly recommended that you do not modify the MXP0 payroll schema to meet your business needs. Instead, you are advised to copy this schema to the name range for the customer and then make the necessary changes. This way, any changes you make to your (sub)schema will not disappear when legal patches are used or you migrate to the most recent version of R/3.

Activities

  1. Run this IMG activity.
  2. In the image that appears, press Copy.
  3. Select a name with four characters in the name range of the customer for the schema copy. Insert this name under To schema in the dialog that appears.
  4. In the image that then appears, select Modify. This will allow you to make changes to the copied schema and its subschemas and rules as necessary.
  5. Make all relevant modifications and then press Save.
  6. Return to the main image of the schema editor.
  7. Select Generate (F6) and then exit the transaction.
