Use

The following IMG activities enable you to enter all the settings that determine how data is displayed when the Overview of Insured Persons' Data report runs. The standard system includes model entries to help you determine how data is displayed. The required steps are described in detail below.

Standard settings

The Telephone Screen default value is fixed in the standard system as the processing reason for displaying insured persons' data. This processing reason cannot be changed because all other Customizing settings are directly dependent on this key.

Activities

Define the dialog structure as follows:

Processing reason
In the Processing reason group box, enter a suitable function module in the Confirmation prompt and Data display fields:
- Use the Confirmation prompt field to enter the required function module that is used to determine the type of confirmation prompt used to check authorizations (such as passwords).
- Use the Data display field to enter the required function module that determines how data is output.

  • Characteristics of processing reason

This step enables you to determine whether a confirmation prompt is performed for the processing reason. Select the Confirmation prompt checkbox if required.

  • Data areas

The Master data, Account data, Parameters, and Payroll data areas are included in the standard system.
If you want to define more data areas, choose New entries. Enter a numerical value as a leading digit for the name of the data area in the customer namespace.

Enter data in the following fields:

    • Data Collection
    • Data Display
    • Detail View

The Characteristics of data areas section (see below) enables you to suppress data areas that you do not require by selecting the Exclude checkbox.

Person grouping
The standard system includes the Active (00) and Retired (01) person groupings.
If you want to create person groupings, choose New entries. Enter a digit between 5 and 9 as a leading digit in the Grouping field.

  • Characteristics of data areas

This section enables you to define the characteristics of data areas.
You determine the following for each area:

    • Whether you want to prevent a data area from being displayed on the user interface.
    • The order in which data areas are displayed on tab pages.
You can specify up to 12 data areas.
    • Whether details are displayed for the data area in question.
Depending on your entry in this field, the name of the data area selected by the user on the corresponding tab page is shown on the Details pushbutton.
    • Whether the PC interpreter is provided with a PC activity that performs a specific type of processing control.
  • Master data

This section enables you to use the New entries pushbutton to enter the master data that meets your requirements.
To define infotype field display on the Master data tab page, enter data in the following fields:

  • Account data
The Account data section enables you to determine which value types are selected from the total number of value types in the pension fund and then displayed.
To enter value types that meet your requirements, use the New entries pushbutton.
To determine how value types are displayed on the screen, select the following checkboxes:
    • Display empty fields
    • Display all values
    • Display values annually
    • Display values calculated by PC interpreter
Select the PC Interpreter field if the values must be calculated because they are not displayed otherwise.

The Account data -> Totals formation section enables you to determine how totals are formed for a value type.

      Example:

Value type BT00 is defined as a savings contribution in your pension fund S000. The value type displays the employee and employer savings contribution as a total.

If you want to display the savings contribution using the Overview of Insured Persons' Data report, proceed as follows:

      1. Select the line in which the value type is stored and double-click on Totals formation in the dialog structure.

      2. Enter the person grouping and pension fund key in the dialog box.
      3. Enter value type BT00 once again in the Totals Formation view.

Result: The value of value type BT00 is displayed as a total in the Telephone Screen.

If savings contributions are calculated separately for employees and employers, and if you want them to be displayed as a total, proceed as follows:
      1. Select the line in which value type BT00 is stored and double-click on Totals formation in the structure.

      2. Enter the person grouping and pension fund key in the dialog box.

      3. In the Totals Formation view, enter the value types for EE savings contribution (model entry BT05) and ER savings contribution (model entry BT10) instead of value type BT00.
Result: The value of value type BT00 includes the total of employer and employee contributions.

  • Payroll data
Payroll data is displayed depending on the selected pension fund. Payroll data is not calculated by processing control.
You can determine how data is displayed on the Payroll data tab page by selecting the following checkboxes:
    • Annually
    • All
    • Empty

The Payroll data -> Totals formation section enables you to determine how totals are formed for a wage type. Proceed as described under Account data -> Totals formation.

  • Define parameter values

This section enables you to determine which parameters are displayed depending on the pension fund.
To determine parameters, use the options that you specify in the Parameter option field using input help.
If you select the PC parameter checkbox, the parameter value to be displayed is calculated by the PC interpreter if it cannot be read from a parameter table.
