Use
If you do not want to establish a fixed assignment between a physical account and a symbolic account, you can use a search term (matchcode) to determine a physical account. You can determine this search term using a feature on the basis of the insured person's organizational assignment.
Requirements
You have performed the Feature Determination activity to assign a feature to the Matchcode Determination application area.
In the Matchcode Determination IMG step, you use the matchcode determination feature for at least one symbolic account.
Activities
Call the activity.
Define the search term of the customer or vendor to be posted as a return value.
Save your entries.
Example
You manage executive employees and non-executive employees in your pension fund. However, you want to post data to different accounts in Financial Accounting because, for example, contribution invoices are issued to different departments within the enterprise. The matchcode determination feature enables you to use the organizational assignment to determine the customer account used for posting.
Create two customer accounts with the appropriate search terms in Financial Accounting, and assign them two accounts.
