Use

This activity enables you to define account modifiers.

Account modifiers are used to control the posting characteristics of value types. By defining different account modifiers, you can ensure that the posting characteristics of value types are identical for several account types.

Requirements

You have accessed the IMG for pension funds and chosen Posting to Accounting -> Define Feature Determination to determine the feature used for account determination. The standard system includes feature PFDF3 for this purpose.

Activities

  1. Call the activity. In the dialog box, enter the required country grouping and application PF.
  2. In change mode, choose New Entries.
  3. Define an account modifier and the posting characteristics of value types for this modifier.
  4. Save your entries.

Example

You have defined two account types, 01 and 03. Ordinary contributions are saved in both accounts, whereas additional contributions (such as for enhanced benefits) are saved in account type 03.

Define two account modifiers, 0000 and 0003. You define the posting characteristics of jointly used value types using account modifier 0000, and the posting characteristics of additional value types using account modifier 0003.
