Use

This activity enables you to assign defined ESS scenarios to the ESS menu. You start the ESS menu with service PZM3.

The ESS menu is a group of several catalogs. Each of these catalogs contains several services. This assignment results in a two-level hierarchy.

Standard settings

The ESS pension fund scenarios included in the standard system are not integrated with the ESS menu of service PZM3.

Activities

Perform the activities in the following order.

  1. Define services

Define the services for your ESS scenarios.
Use the ESS service name field to enter a value from the customer namespace for the service.
Enter S (ITS service) as the service type.

In the Service address/logical address field, enter the transaction code of the ESS scenario.

  2. Determine service name

This activity enables you to enter a text for defined services in languages other than the logon language.

  3. Assign services to country group

Assign the services to the countries for which the ESS scenario is relevant.

  4. Define catalogs

This step enables you to define catalogs.
The catalogs are displayed directly in the ESS menu.

  5. Determine catalog name

This activity enables you to enter a text for defined catalogs in languages other than the logon language.

  6. Assign services to catalogs

Assign a catalog to each of your services, and assign a number to each service.
The order in which services appear in the catalog is determined by the numbers assigned at this point.

  7. Assign catalogs to menus

Assign your catalogs to ESS menu PZM3 and assign a number.
The catalogs are displayed in the ESS menu in the same order as these numbers.
