If you use Organizational Management as an independent component in your system, you must ensure that the settings which are common to both Campus Management and Organizational Management match. Never make settings or changes only in Organizational Management as this can have serious consequences.
Most of the activities in the Basic Settings section of Customizing for Campus Management are Organizational Management IMG activities. If you use Organizational Management not only together with Campus Management but also as an independent component, you must avoid colliding data. Most IMG activities in the Basic Settings section are also included in Customizing for Organizational Management. We therefore recommend that you first perform the activities in the Basic Settings section of Campus Management.
To determine whether an IMG activity in the Campus Management Basic Settings section belongs to Organizational Management, display its technical key (Additional Information -> Additional Information -> Display Key -> IMG Activity). The IMG activities of Organizational Management usually have the key SIMG_CFMENUOHP*.
Project IMG for Campus Management
When you create and generate a project IMG for the IS-CM-AD component (Campus Management Administration), the SAP System automatically chooses the IMG activities of Organizational Management which are relevant for Campus Management. The Organizational Management IMG activities contained in the project IMG represent required settings. Any other additional settings can be made in Customizing for Organizational Management.

If you do not want the system to copy specific infotypes and relationships when you copy a Personnel Planning object (PD object), you can define this in the following IMG activity:
- Organizational Management -> Hierarchy Framework -> Exclude Infotypes when Copying Internal Objects
