In this step, you set up the plan versions which you require in your organization.
Plan versions offer you the possibility to administer several plans parallel in the system. As a rule, one plan version contains an overview of the enterprise and its development.
The other plan versions can be used for experiments with different scenarios, for simulations and for comparison purposes.
Evaluations (reports) are always only concerned with one plan version. For this reason, it is not advisable to create your plan versions according to the different PD modules. Only one plan version is active.
Note
Set the active plan version in the step Set Active Plan Version.
Standard settings
The standard SAP system contains preset plan versions.
