Use
In this IMG activity, you determine the order in which reports read subtypes that contain data stored in the subtypes of the Documents and Certificates infotype (0290).
Based on the priority of the subtype that you set in this IMG activity, the system reads the corresponding data stored in the infotype, starting with the subtypes assigned the highest priority.
Each document type can be relevant for one or more subtypes in the Documents and Certificates infotype (0290).
Requirements
You have entered the required groups of objects in the IMG activity Determine Report Groups.
Standard settings
The standard system contains the most commonly-used document types that you use for the subtypes in the Documents and Certificates infotype (0290).
Activities
- For each group of documents, for example, award certificates (AW), you determine the subtypes in which you want reports to read data.
- Determine the order in which the system reads the subtypes you enter.
Example
You want the report for form T-2 to read data related to awards. You store awards data in your own subtype in the Documents and Certificates infotype.
You assign the infotypes that you want the report to read to get the awards data to the document group AW.
If you store awards data in several subtypes, you can enter all relevant subtypes in this IMG activity. You enter the subtype you want the system to use first with the lowest number in the Priority field.
On the report selection screen, you enter the document group AW.
