In this step, you define the selection criteria for Selection rules in the infotype category. A selection condition is necessary if the selection of employee data is dependant on the values of indiviual infotype fields.

Requirements

You have checked that the infotype you want is allowed for the selection.

Activities

  1. Determine which selection conditions are necessary for your selection rules when selecting employee data.
  2. Check the infotype selection conditions in the standard delivery.
  3. If necessary, define further infotype selection conditions.
    1. You are on the overview tree of the header node Selection conditions: Infotype selection. Select New entries
    2. Select the infotypes you want.
      3. You can only select infotypes that are permitted for the selection-
    3. If the desired infotype is subdivided into subtypes, enter the subtype you want.
    4. Select Save.
    5. Select the new selection conditions and select the node Selection conditions: Definition.
    6. Enter the field name, the relational operator and the field value.
    7. Specify a logical link between field names when you enter multiple field names.
    8. Select save.
